Hello!  We're Larry and Martha.

If you already know or have traveled with Putnam Travels, thank you for following us to our new website/blog. If you're new to our site, we're glad you found us.

A bit about us -

Larry Putnam Clark has been a dedicated travel agent for more than 30 years and has worked in the travel industry for more than 40 years. Larry would say his best travel adventure was traveling through Europe for six months with his best friend during the carefree era of the Sixties. You can see Putnam comes from his middle name which was passed down from his father and grandfather.

Martha Christopherson spent 23 years as a marketing and advertising executive working in the tourism and packaged-goods industries and enjoyed freelance writing on various topics including travel and food. She would say her best travel adventure was hiking in Switzerland with Larry on their first trip together.

Larry and Martha have been on many trips since that first journey together, including a trip "down the aisle." Our most memorable trips have been to Fiji, Machu Picchu, Croatia, Guatemala, South Africa, Galapagos Islands and anywhere we've ridden a bike. We've taken several cycling trips - some from inn-to-inn and others aboard a chartered barge with our close-knit biking friends.

We decided to team up and create a website where we both could contribute. Larry will still bring you the latest offerings in great travel and Martha will provide content and blog posts. Please click here to contact us.

We hope you'll come along with us on this ride.
